FLAME: Better Serverless Architecture with Kubernetes

I gave this talk at the DevFest 2024 event organized by the GDG Lahore team at Ali Auditorium in Lahore, discussing the FLAME pattern that’s emerged out of the Elixir community and how it can be used with Kubernetes for a much better self-managed “serverless” experience.

Implementing Serverless with Kubernetes is a bit of oxymoron, but once you understand how conventional serverless implementations solve one problem by introducing a set of multiple other problems, you’ll realize why the FLAME pattern makes sense.
